Reo Hatate ( Japanese 旗手 怜 央 , Hatate Reo ; born November 21, 1997 in Suzuka , Mie Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Reo Hatate learned to play football on the school team at Shizuoka Gakuen High School and on the university team at Juntendo University . The university was on loan to Kawasaki Frontale from August 2018 to January 2019 and from April 2019 to January 2020 . At the beginning of 2020 he was firmly signed by Frontale. The club from Kawasaki , a city on the Japanese main island of Honshu in the northeast of Kanagawa Prefecture , played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2018 he celebrated the Japanese football championship with Frontale. In 2019 he won the J. League Cup with Frontale .

National team

In 2018 Reo Hatate played three times for the Japanese U21 national team . He wore the jersey of the U23 team twelve times .
