Fiat was a car brand from the People's Republic of China .
Brand history
First there was Nanjing Fiat Automobile based in Nanjing . Automobiles were manufactured between 2001 and 2007 and marketed as Fiat . A single source states that the brand name Nanjing Fiat was used from February 2006 .
In 2012, production and marketing continued under the new company GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobiles from Changsha . The sales figures were five-digit in good years. In 2019, only 23 vehicles of this brand were newly registered in China. A production has not survived since 2019.

The Doblò , Palio , Palio Weekend and Siena models have been handed down for the first production period . Palio and Perla are listed as Nanjing Fiat .
Ottimo , Palio, Perla, Siena and Viaggio were named for the second company .
