Yuzhou General Auto Works was an automobile manufacturer from the People's Republic of China .

Company history

The company Chongqing Automobile General Assembley & Repair Factory and Chongqing Auto General Repair Works of Chongqing began in 1982 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Yuzhou . The company's name was later changed to Yuzhou General Auto Works . Production ended in 1993.

The first model, the YZ 120 B, was a pick-up .

In 1993 the YZ 6490 was added. This station wagon was created under a license from Holden and was based on the Opel Omega .
