Shanghai Bus Repair Works was a manufacturer of automobiles from the People's Republic of China .

Company history

The Shanghai-based company began producing automobiles in 1959. The brand name was Haiyan . Production ended in 1962. There was no connection with Shanghai Mini-Auto Works from the same city, which used the same brand name between 1966 and 1970.

vehicles

The 730 or CK 730 was an open compact car that resembled the Feiyue . There was a big V on the grille . Initially, the vehicles had no doors. A two-door version was later available. The vehicles were used as taxis . One source indicates that probably a two-stroke engine with 579 cc displacement drive vehicles.

A closed vehicle of a different design was also in the range.
