vehicles

The company took over the production of off-road vehicles from Beijing Automobile Works in 1965 . The Tianjin TJ 740 , manufactured from 1968 to 1975, had a four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1800 cc . The four-door body offered space for four people. Around 100 vehicles were built in 1974. The Beijing BJ210 was as Tianjin BJ 210 C manufactured.

One model was the successor to the Tientsin , which was produced from 1951 to 1968. The manufacturer is not explicitly passed down. The authors Harald Linz and Halwart Schrader describe Tianjin and Tientsin in the same chapter in their encyclopedia . Tientsin is another name for the city of Tianjin. A Tianjin TC 210 is also mentioned as the successor to the Tientsin TJ 210 . Another source confirms that the company was making off-road vehicles as early as 1952.

From Heping (also He-Ping ) emerged from 1958 to 1960 two prototypes . The manufacturer was either Tianjin Auto Works , Tianjin Auto Repair Works or Tientsin Motor Vehicle Repair & Assembly Factory . The first vehicle was a copy of the Toyopet Crown . The data for the four-cylinder engine with 1453 cc displacement, three-speed transmission and 2538 mm wheelbase were identical. The Chinese license plate was 1 * 10691 . The second vehicle from 1960 was larger and featured styling elements from Packard and the GAZ-13 Chaika . Another source confirms that the company was working on car prototypes from 1958.
