Beifang ( Chinese  北方 , Pinyin Běifāng  - "north, northern region"), also written Beifan , was a car brand from the People's Republic of China

Brand history

Norinco , Chinese by-fan or by-catch, is a company from Beijing . At least two subsidiaries manufactured automobiles that were marketed as by- fans or by-catches . According to a source, the brand name was last used in 2003.

Xian Qinhuan Automobile from Xi'an made the bycatch QCJ7050 . The construction time was between 1986 and 1989, although there are different information. Around 500 of these vehicles were built.

The same manufacturer produced the Suzuki Alto under license from 1992 , which was also marketed as the Beifan Alto .

Jiangbei Machinery Works from Jilin manufactured the same model as a by-catch alto from 1992 onwards .
