The Yichun company started producing automobiles in 1997. The brand name was Ganzhong . Production ended in the same year.

The other model 6300 was a subcompact . With a wheelbase of 210 cm, it was 300 cm long, 140 cm wide and 165 cm high. The closed body was made of plastic and offered space for four people. The curb weight was given as 910 kg. There was a choice of engines with 644 cm³ displacement as well as 797 cm³ displacement and 35 kW power.
