Tianjin Group Meiya Auto Co. Ltd. is a manufacturer of automobiles from the People's Republic of China .

Company history

Tianjin Automotive Industry Corporation and Beijing Jiameiya Company founded the company in Tianjin in 2003 and began manufacturing automobiles. The brand name is Tianqi Meiya .

At least in the past, exports have taken place to Syria , Yemen , Saudi Arabia , Qatar , Kuwait and Jamaica .

The first model, the Qibing (Cheer), was an SUV in the low-price segment, available in the versions TM 6490 and TM 6500 as well as a pick-up Lucheng TM 1020 .

In October 2004 the Shunfeng TM 6480 was added, which was no longer listed in 2008.

2008 had Qibing TM 6500 a four-cylinder engine with a choice of 2237 cc displacement made or 2350 cc, the 75 kW. With a wheelbase of 3025 mm, the vehicle was 5135 mm long, 1760 mm wide and 1850 mm high. The curb weight was 1640 kg. All-wheel drive was available as an option.

The Lucheng TM 1020 A was a pick-up with a double cab . It had the smaller of the two engines. The wheelbase was identical. The length was 5080 mm, the width 1700 mm and the height 1730 mm.
