Everus , also known as Li Nian , is a car brand from the People's Republic of China .

Brand history

The Guangqi Honda Automobile company from Guangzhou introduced an automobile under the brand name in 2008 . Series production began in 2011.

The first production model to date was the S 1 , presented on April 17, 2011. This is a four-door compact car with a notchback based on the fifth generation of the Honda City (2002–2008) . With a wheelbase of 2450 mm, the vehicle is 4420 mm long, 1690 mm wide and 1495 mm high. There is a choice of four-cylinder engines with a capacity of 1300 cm³ and an output of 73 kW (99 PS) as well as with a capacity of 1500 cm³ and an output of 88 kW (120 PS).

The VE-1 electric car presented at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November 2018 is based on the second generation Honda HR-V . The compact SUV is 4308 mm long, 1824 mm wide and 1625 mm high. The 120 kW (163 hp) engine accelerates the vehicle to up to 140 km / h. The accumulator has a capacity of 53.6 kWh, which should enable a range of 340 km according to the NEDC.

Production numbers

In 2011, 24,635 vehicles were sold. In the following year the number remained roughly the same at 24,576. 2013 saw sales halve to 13,913. 4547 cars were sold in 2014, 3521 the next year and 4173 thereafter. No figures are known for 2017. The previous low point was reached in 2018 with 100 vehicles. 2019 saw an increase to 1,555 cars.
