Luoyang Lingkong Auto Works was a manufacturer of automobiles from the People's Republic of China .

Company history

The company People's Liberation Army No. Works 5408 from Luoyang began producing trucks and minibuses in 1970 . In the 1980s, off-road vehicles and in 1991 passenger cars were added. The brand names were Lingkong and Tianma . Ten vehicles have been delivered for 1991. The vehicles were also used as taxis . In 1995 car production ended. In 1999 it was taken over by the Yutong Group , which today operates as Luoyang CIMC Lingyu Automobile .

There is no known association with Baoding Tianma Automobile , which also uses the Tianma brand name .

Passenger cars

The models on offer were Lingkong KJ 6380 , Lingkong KJ 5010 and Tianma KJ 5010 . They were similar to models made by Daihatsu . Many parts came from Xiali . The choice was between versions with hatchback and stub tail , each four-door with a large tailgate. With a wheelbase of 246 cm, the vehicles were 380 cm long, 151 cm wide and 148 cm high. The curb weight was given as 920 kg. An engine of Dong'an with 797 cc displacement and 26 kW powered vehicles.
