Shenjian was a brand of automobiles from the People's Republic of China .

Brand history

Jiangbei Machinery Works from Jilin introduced the brand in 1987. Were driven automobiles . When the company merged in 2002, the use of this brand name ended.

First there was the JJ 720 . It was later renamed to JJ 7050 and JJ 7060 . The basis was the Subaru Rex . There was a choice of a two-cylinder engine from Liuzhou with 644 cm³ displacement and 21 kW output and a three-cylinder engine from Daihatsu with 846 cm³ displacement and 30 kW output. The vehicles were 3195 mm long, 1395 mm wide and 1420 mm high. The wheelbase was 2295 mm. The stronger variant had an empty weight of 630 kg. The numbers given are 50 to 150 per year. Another source has reported 23 vehicles for 2000, after which no more. Incidentally, the same model was also available from Meilu .

In 1992 the year 7080 was added. It corresponded to the Suzuki Alto . The engine had a displacement of 796 cc. Jiangbei offered the same model.
