Jiangbei was a car brand from the People's Republic of China .

Brand history

Jiangbei Machinery Works from Jilin presented an automobile of this brand as early as 1986 . It was not until 1992 that the brand name was used for series vehicles. When the company merged in 2002, the use of this brand name ended.

In 1986 the JJ 710 was presented. It corresponded to the Fiat 126 from Polski Fiat . The production probably did not materialize.

The year 7080 followed in 1992 . This was a license production of the Suzuki Alto . Another source states that production ran from November 1992 to 1999, then paused, and only resumed for 2002.
