Lynk & Co ( Chinese : 领 克) is a brand of the Chinese automobile manufacturer Geely , which was founded in October 2016. Lynk & Co vehicles are positioned between those of the Geely brand and its Swedish subsidiary Volvo . The focus of Lynk & Co is on networked models and innovative sales strategies, with which the company aims to appeal to younger car buyers in particular.

Sales strategy

Lynk & Co vehicles are intended to be sold through a direct sales model in most markets . In contrast to many other brands in which the vehicles are sold through car dealerships , the company saves itself this logistical effort by ordering vehicles over the Internet. The first vehicles have been sold in China since the end of November 2017; the market launch for Europe and the United States was originally planned for the end of 2019. The Lynk & Co models are built in Taizhou .

The brand's first vehicle is the Lynk & Co 01 based on the Geely Group's CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform , on which the Volvo XC40 is also based. The Lynk & Co 01 has been sold in China since November 28, 2017.

The Lynk & Co 03 sedan was presented as a concept vehicle in April 2017 at the Shanghai Motor Show . It is also based on the CMA platform. The production version has been available in China since October 2018.

The crossover - SUV Lynk & Co 02 also builds on the CMA platform and was introduced as a production version on March 26, 2018th The market launch in China was on June 28, 2018.

The manufacturer describes the Lynk & Co 05 , which went on sale in March 2020, as an SUV coupé .

In June 2020 Lynk & Co presented the SUV 06 .
