The Lynk & Co 01 is a compact SUV from the Chinese automobile brand Lynk & Co , which was developed together with Volvo Cars .
history
In October 2016, the manufacturer presented the 01 as a concept vehicle in Berlin . The production model made its debut at the Shanghai Motor Show in April 2017. The vehicle has been on sale in China since November 28, 2017. Until March 2018, only the vehicles of the limited edition of 1,001 copies Limited Edition built.
At the Beijing Auto Show in April 2018, Lynk & Co presented a plug-in hybrid version of the SUV. It has been on sale in China since July 27, 2018.
technology
The SUV is Lynk & Co's first vehicle and is based on the modular CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform , which the Volvo XC40 , Geely Xingyue and Polestar 2 also use. The 01 also takes over other components from the XC40, such as the motors or the safety systems.
Technical specifications
When the 01 was launched, only a 140 kW (190 hp) two-liter gasoline engine was available for the 01 , which is also used in the Volvo XC40. This is offered as standard with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission and front-wheel drive , all-wheel drive is optionally available. The manufacturer specifies the maximum speed at 210 km / h.
The plug-in hybrid version introduced in July 2018 is powered by the 1.5-liter three-cylinder petrol engine with 132 kW (180 hp) known from the XC40 in combination with a 60 kW (82 hp) electric motor. The manufacturer specifies the electric range at 51 kilometers.
In November 2019, the manufacturer introduced a hybrid version that cannot be charged from the socket.
