The Polestar 2 is a mid -range electric car from the Swedish automaker Polestar , which is owned 50 percent by Volvo Car Corporation and Zhejiang Geely Holding . The Polestar 2 was unveiled on February 27, 2019. The first deliveries to customers took place in July 2020.
Details
The car has been manufactured in Luqiao ( PR China ) since March 2020 .
The starting list price in Germany is € 57,900. A version will later be offered for € 39,900. You can only order online. In some large cities there should be showrooms (“ Polestar Spaces ”) in which the car can be viewed. So far, these are only available in Beijing and Oslo . 50 spaces are planned worldwide. Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath announced showrooms in seven German city centers in mid-2020.
The Polestar 2 is available in black, white, blue and three shades of gray. It is the first vehicle in the world whose infotainment system is based on the Android operating system .
