Hubei Sanjiang Space Wanshan Special Vehicle ( Chinese  湖北 三江 航天 萬 山 特種 車輛 有限公司  /  湖北 三江 航天 万 山 特种 车辆 有限公司 , short 万 山 特 kurz or "Wanshan special vehicles") is a manufacturer of motor vehicles from the People's Republic of China . Wanshan Sonderfahrzeuge GmbH is a subsidiary of the China Space Sanjiang Group Corporation (CSSG), which in turn is a subsidiary of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation (CASIC). The CEO of Wanshan Special Vehicle has been Zheng Jialong (郑家龙) since 2014.

The company emerged from the Wanshan special vehicle factory (万 山 特种 车辆 制造厂), one of the nine factories which, from 1970 onwards, formed so-called "Basis 066", a facility of the. Yuan'an district in the district-free city of Yichang " Third Front ". In 1979 the production of buses began . In the mid-1980s, Wanshan manufactured four series of minibuses, the most famous of which were the so-called “bread cars” (面包车), which got their name from the shape reminiscent of a box of bread and the yellow color in the taxi variant. However, their production was later discontinued due to more stringent regulation of the taxi industry and the resulting lower demand. In 1994 some passenger cars were built . The brand name was Wanshan . Base 066 was closed in 2002 - a museum has been built there since 2017 - and the vehicle factory relocated to Xiaogan in the north of Hubei , where the company's headquarters are still located today. The company currently produces trucks for civil and military purposes, both for normal road traffic and all-terrain variants, plus multi-axle low loaders , transmissions , automatic coupling systems , driver's cabs, etc. On September 26, 2019, Hall 202 of the Wanshan special vehicle factory opened of the former base 066 added to the list of national monuments by the State Council of the People's Republic of China .

The only car model was the WS 6320 , which was first presented in 1994. This was a 3.2 m long minivan .

Heavy multi-axle truck models are for example the WS2300, WS2400 , WS2500, WS2600, WS2900 and WS51200 , which are mainly used as military vehicles.

A new product are purely electrically powered buses for city traffic with a length of 6 m, 8 m and 10 m. In June 2019, the company was able to sell 30 of these electric buses to the municipal transport of Xiaogan, in early April 2020 then 56 buses belonging to Xiaogan District Dawu . We are also currently working on the development of electrically powered trucks.
