Arcfox is a car brand from the People's Republic of China .

Brand history

The Beijing Automotive Group from Beijing decided to introduce this car brand as a luxury brand. The manufacturer is the subsidiary Beijing Electric Vehicle , or BJEV for short. The market launch took place at the end of 2017. Edag from Germany was involved in the development. The designer is Walter Maria de Silva .

The Arcfox Lite was the first model to appear . It is based on a model from BJEV, but is priced higher. With a wheelbase of 1870 mm, the two-seater is 2986 mm long, 1676 mm wide and 1492 mm high. The curb weight is specified as 895 kg. The vehicle is powered by an electric motor with 49 hp . This enables a top speed of 110 km / h. The range is given as 170 km.

Three prototypes were presented at the Geneva Motor Show 2019 : the SUV ECF, the GT Street sports car and the GT Track racing car based on it . On the English-language website of the brand, the names ECF, GT and GT Race Edition were mentioned in May 2020.

In May 2020 it was reported that the production model of the SUV should go into series production as the Alpha-T. The vehicle is 478 cm long, 194 cm wide and 168 cm high. Two electric motors together produce 163 kW.

Sales figures in China

In December 2017, the first month of sales, 472 vehicles of this brand were registered in China. In 2018 there were a total of 588 and in the following year 599. All sales during this period relate to the Lite model.
