Fujian New Forta Automobile is an automobile manufacturer from the People's Republic of China .

Company history

The company Fuzhou Automobile Works and Fuzhou Auto Repair & Assembly Works was established in 1956 in Fuzhou founded. In 1971 the production of commercial vehicles began . Automobiles were added in 1990. The brand name is Forta , possibly Fuda in the past . From 1993 there was a collaboration with Mazda . In 2002 the name was changed to Fujian Xinfada The Carmobile Industry Co. Ltd. In 2005 the company belonged to Fujian Motor Industry Group Co. Ltd. In 2008 the company name Fujian New Forta Automobile Co. Ltd. handed down.

The company should not be confused with Jiangxi Huaxiang Fuqi Automobile from the same place.

vehicles

The first models were pick-ups in 1993 . FZ 1022 SA and FZ 1022 M offered space for five seats and were based on the Mazda B-series from 1985-1999. The FZ 1022 YBM was a three-seater. There was a choice of engines with a displacement of 2200 cc and 92 hp for all models, as well as 105 hp for the five-seater.

The SUV FZ 6490 , which corresponded to the Mazda Marvie , and the minivan FZ 6430 , which corresponded to the Mazda Bongo from 1983-1999, were discontinued in 2002.

From 2005 the SUV Furui and Lucheng were produced. Both had four-cylinder engines with a displacement of 2237 cm³ and an output of 76 kW. The wheelbase was identical at 2985 mm.

The company also manufactures trucks and buses . The company last presented passenger cars on its own website in 2012.
