The Fiat Viaggio is a compact class vehicle from the Fiat brand , manufactured between 2012 and 2017 by GAC Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in China.

It was a slightly modified version of the Dodge Dart . Viaggio and Dart share a revised C platform from FCA Fiat Chrysler with their group siblings Alfa Romeo Giulietta , Chrysler 200 and Jeep Cherokee .

The Fiat Viaggio differed from the darts in terms of engine, interior and front and rear areas. Instead of a continuous strip of lights like the Dart, Viaggio and Ottimo have two individual rear lights.

The Viaggio was the first model produced by GAC Fiat Automobiles and was called Fei Xiang in China . It was presented at Auto China 2012.

In 2013 the hatchback version Fiat Ottimo followed , designed by Roberto Giolito .

Both versions proved unsuccessful. Instead of the targeted sales volume of 250,000, only 68,090 of the two models were registered in 2014, a total of 31,481 in 2015 and again only 12,699 in 2016.

Instead of a successor model, GAC FCA has been concentrating on the manufacture of vehicles of the Jeep brand since the production stop.
