The Fiat 1100T is a motor vehicle manufactured by the Italian car manufacturer Fiat . Fiat called it a " fast transporter ". It was Fiat's first van that was not based on a passenger car.
construction
The front control arm was equipped with a four-cylinder in - line engine with a 1089 cm³ engine (model 103 D.007), which developed 28 kW at 4800 rpm. the vehicle accelerated to a maximum of 90 km / h . The permissible total weight was 2400 kg; the payload 1100 kg. The wheelbase was 2300 mm.
The 1100T model was delivered from 1957 as a panel van , flatbed truck , minibus and chassis (driver's cab with platform). The successor model Fiat 1100 T2 , which appeared in 1959, was equipped with a 33 kW 1222 cm³ engine. From 1962 there was the Fiat 305D with a 1901 cm³ diesel engine with 34.5 kW. In 1963 the payload increased to up to 1.3 tons, while the Fiat 116 petrol engine with 1295 cm³ and 35 kW replaced the previous petrol engine. From 1966 to 1968 the vehicle was called model 1100 Q2 , it now had the Fiat 115C gasoline engine with 1481 cm³ and 39 kW. In 1968 it was replaced by the Fiat AZ petrol engine with 1438 cm³ and 37.5 kW, which had more torque with lower consumption. The diesel engine was replaced by the new Fiat 237AZ engine (1895 cm³, same output). Production in Italy was ended in 1971. The successor, the Fiat 238 , which had been in production since 1966, received a revision at the same time. The model was also produced under license by Steyr-Puch in Austria and Zastava in Yugoslavia .
