Reptilium
A reptile is a zoo that specializes in, presents and breeds reptiles . Invertebrates such as scorpions and spiders are often also kept. In addition, insects are often bred for feed purposes .
One goal of a reptile is often to reduce ignorance and fears in contact with snakes, spiders, etc. The breeding station is also often open to the public.

According to its own statement, the largest reptile in Germany was opened in Landau in mid-2004. The different reptiles of the tropical and desert zones are housed in spacious and natural- looking terrariums , aquariums and paluduaries , classified according to their geographical origin.
