The Repulse River is a river in the south of the Australian state of Tasmania .
geography
River course
The river has its source on the eastern slopes of Mount Dawson , a mountain on the northwest corner of Mount Field National Park . From there it flows northeast and flows into Lake Repulse and thus into the Derwent River .
