life and career

Resi Reiner was born on June 2, 1996 in Graz, where she grew up and had little acting experience when her mother signed her up for a casting for the main and title role of Karo in Karo and Liebe Gott . After receiving the role, she spent a few weeks filming in Vienna ; the film premiered on November 2, 2006. After that, it became largely quiet again about the young up-and-coming actress, who was trained between 2004 and 2011 at the Theater am Ortweinplatz and also performed there. In 2011 she was seen in the short film Erdbeerland by the Graz filmmaker Florian Pochlatko . In 2016 she took part in a casting workshop with Nicole Schmied from Casting Schmied , who has been an independent casting director since 2005, and in the same year had a short appearance that lasted only a few seconds in the music video for Lemo's single Himmel über Wien . She experienced a renewed career upswing in 2020 when she was seen in the internationally performed film The Trouble with Being Born by Sandra Wollner, born in Leoben , and in the same year also the role of Marita Schwarz in the third part of the television film series Dennstein & Schwarz , Dennstein & Schwarz - Rufmord , which was filmed primarily in Styria in summer and autumn 2019 , took over. Today (as of 2020) Reiner lives in Vienna.
