Resolution 2 of the UN Security Council was adopted unanimously on 30 January 1946th With this resolution, the Security Council calls on Iran and the Soviet Union to resolve the disputes over the territories occupied by the Soviet Union during the Iran crisis . The resolution also requires the Security Council to be kept regularly informed of the negotiations.

consequences

As a result, the Security Council found in Resolution 3 of April 4 that the Soviet troops were not withdrawn from Iranian territory on time.
