UN Security Council resolution 746

The United Nations Security Council Resolution 746 of 17 March 1992 deals with the - of civil war and famine drawn - Situation in Somalia and refers to the previous resolution 733 and the report of the Secretary-General of 11 March 1992nd

She called on the groups in Somalia to respect the ceasefire and to provide humanitarian aid to the civilian population. In particular, it supports the Secretary-General's urgent call to set up a Technical Operations Team for a Peacekeeping Mission ( UNOSOM ).

The resolution was passed by the United Nations Security Council at its 3060th session.
