Ressano Garcia is a place in District Moamba in Mozambique on the border between South Africa and Mozambique . The place is characterized by buildings from the colonial era, but has changed significantly due to the economic dependence on neighboring South Africa and the resulting borderline phenomena.

Ressano Garcia is located on the new EN4 trunk road , the traffic flows from the Johannesburg and Pretoria regions with Maputo and the Pretoria – Maputo railway line , which connects the City Deep container terminal in Johannesburg with the Maputo port via a junction .
