The Retro Classics auto show in Stuttgart , with over 90,000 visitors and now more than 900 exhibitors, is one of the central meeting points for the classic car scene in southern Germany, which also attracts many Swiss visitors. It has taken place every spring at Messe Stuttgart since 2001 .

In 2009, 2,500 historic vehicles on two and four wheels were shown, plus 400 vehicles on the sales exchange. The special shows in 2009 included “100 Years of Bugatti ”, “100 Years of Abarth ”, 30 Ferraris , historic tractors, agricultural machinery and buses, as well as the special area of ​​historic fire engines. Then there were the youngtimers and neo-classics (modern classics).

In addition to the European car manufacturers who use the fair to present themselves and their historic vehicles, numerous German and international motorcycle manufacturers are showing their historic two-wheelers, including Harley-Davidson . Manufacturers of spare parts , tools and maintenance products complete the range for classic car enthusiasts.
