Rettenbach 12 (Sankt Englmar)
The Waldlerhaus Rettenbach 12 in Rettenbach , a village of the municipality Sankt Englmar in the Lower Bavarian district of Straubing-Bogen is a 1674 erected Einfirsthof . The former small farmhouse is a protected architectural monument .
description
The living area of the single-storey building with a gable roof and knee -high is oriented to the southwest and has a block construction on a half-height quarry stone masonry . The block construction is based on the construction period, the roof was split up later. The former stable is located in the northeast of the main building. This is followed by a wooden extension with a pent roof , which was previously used as a barn .
In 2017, the Dietl family received the Monument Protection Medal of the Free State of Bavaria for the exemplary renovation of the monument.
