The Reuther Nunatakker are a comb- like series of Nunatakkers in the Founders Peaks in the West Antarctic Heritage Range . The Nunatak Range is located approximately 5.5 kilometers west of Landmark Peak and extends for approximately 7.5 kilometers. To the north is the Welcome Nunatak .
Researchers found fossils of trilobites here .
The Nunatakker got their name from a geological expedition from the University of Minnesota , which explored this area in the summer of 1963/64. They named the Nunatakker after Charles Jacobson Reuther (1923-2005), who served as a liaison between the military and the helicopter manufacturer ("Helicopter Technical Representative") in the 62nd Transportation Detachment of the United States Army during that summer .
