The Revsvatnet is a lake in the province of Rogaland in the municipalities of Strand and Sandnes in Norway .
The lake is at an altitude of 236 meters. It covers an area of 0.8043 km², is fed by several mountain streams and drains at its southern end over the Revsåna into the Lysefjord to the south . The area of the catchment area is 5.76 km². In the southern part of the lake there are several small islands, of which Holmen is the largest. In the area there are several mountains, such as the Gryteknuten (456 meters) in the southwest, the Moslifjellet (718) in the northeast and the Skàpet (564) in the southeast.
The municipal boundary between Strand and Sandnes runs through the lake. While the northern part belongs to the beach, the southern part is in the area of the municipality of Sandnes.
A hiking trail leads around the lake. Above the north shore of Revsvatnet is the tourist as a starting point for hikes to Preikestolen significant mountain hut Preikestolhytta .
