Rewaco is a trike manufacturer with headquarters in Lindlar in the Oberbergisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia .
Rewaco Spezialfahrzeuge GmbH develops, produces and sells trikes. Purchasing, marketing, sales of vehicles and spare parts as well as administration and development are located at the company headquarters in Lindlar. There is also a production facility in Koszalin .
history
The company was founded in 1990 and presented its first trike in January 1991. Nowadays, around 60 percent of the vehicles are sold in Germany, with exports to Australia , the People's Republic of China , Japan , South Africa , the USA and Canada , but mainly to neighboring western countries.
In addition to self-developed trikes for two to three people and a power range between 51 kW / 70 PS and 148 kW / 201 PS with manual or automatic transmission, rewaco also sells so-called BikeConversions - converted series motorcycles with a rear modified to double-track . With around 500 vehicles produced annually and 130 sales outlets worldwide, rewaco is Europe's leading trike and bike conversion manufacturer.
rewaco is the first KBA -certified manufacturer in this vehicle segment to offer a full two-year vehicle guarantee with unlimited mileage.
technology
As the first trike manufacturer to offer a regulated three-way catalytic converter as standard in all models, rewaco trikes are also equipped with a continuously variable transmission from Punch Powertrain .
