Ričardas Degutis
Ričardas Degutis (born May 20, 1966 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian diplomat, transport politician and deputy minister .
Life
After graduating from S. Nėris Middle School in 1984, Degutis studied from 1984 to 1991 at the Faculty of History of Vilniaus universitetas . He continued his education in England. Since 1991 he has been working in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania . From 1992 to 1996 he worked in the Lithuanian embassy in Moscow . From 2005 to 2008 Degutis was ambassador to Georgia , from 2009 to 2001 consul general in Saint Petersburg . From September 2011 to 2016 he was ambassador to Latvia . Since January 4, 2016 he has been the Deputy Minister of Transport of Lithuania , Rokas Masiulis ' deputy in the Skvernelis cabinet .
