Ričardas Malinauskas

Ričardas Malinauskas (born April 22, 1965 in Skaisčiūnai , Kapsukas district ) is a Lithuanian politician and entrepreneur , mayor of Druskininkai municipality .

Life

From 1972 to 1974 Malinauskas studied in Skaisčiūnai near Marijampolė , from 1974 to 1979 in Alksniupiai and from 1979 to 1980 in Palonai near Radviliškis in the Radviliškis district . After graduating from Baisogala Middle School from 1980 to 1983 , he studied from 1983 to 1984 at the Politechnikos institutas in Kaunas and from 1984 to 1987 at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija in the district of Kaunas . In 2003 he graduated from the Kauno technologijos universitetas with a degree in heat and energy management and became an engineer . From 1993 to 2000 he was the owner and general manager of the fungus - retail company UAB "Hesona". In 2000 he became mayor of Druskininkai . At that time he was a member of the LDDP and father of three children.

From 2001 to April 2016, Malinauskas was a member of the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija . From 2015 he was deputy party chairman of the LSDP , deputy of Algirdas Butkevičius . From 2003 to 2007 he headed the Lietuvos savivaldybių asociacija association .

1998–2001 he was a Baltic autocross champion. He was also awarded the title of national sports champion.

family

His father is Viliumas Malinauskas (* 1942), entrepreneur, museum director and founder, winner of the Ig Nobel Prize .

Ričardas Malinauskas has been divorced twice. With his first wife, Daiva, he has three children, two daughters Evelina and Sandra and their son Tomas. From 2010 to 2014 he was married to the second wife Ineta, who was 17 years younger. and has the son Ričardas (* 2011).
