Adriana Johanna Visser (born July 20, 1961 in Oud-Beijerland ) is a former Dutch speed skater who was particularly successful in all-around competitions in the early to mid-1980s.

Visser's strength lay in the all-around competition, the national championship of which she won five times, four of them in a row (1983 to 1986, including 1980). Internationally, she was only able to build on her success to a limited extent. At the Junior World Championships in all-around competitions in 1979 and 1980, you got two third places. Her best placements, however, remained at the all-around world championships a 6th place (1979) and a 4th place at the European championships.

At the Olympic Winter Games , since there is no all-around competition, she started on the individual routes. In Lake Placid 1980 she did not finish after a fall over 3000 meters, but surprisingly won silver over 1500 meters behind her compatriot Annie Borckink . In 1984 in Sarajevo she was 30th over 500 meters, 25th over 3000 meters and 13th over 1500 meters.

Ria Visser set several national records in her career. She improved the record over 1500 meters four times. She held and improved her record over 3000 meters over 5 years from 1980 to 1985. She was the first record holder over 5000 meters, and she was the first Dutch woman to run this distance under 8 minutes (December 20, 1981 in Groningen ).
