Ribolla

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ribolla is a very old Italian grape variety family , of which there is a red ( Ribolla Nera ) (usually called Schioppettino) and a white variant ( Ribolla Gialla ). In the former Yugoslavia , the grape variety family is called Rebula. It was probably called "Evola" by the Romans. The white variety Robola , known in Greece , is not related to Ribolla.

There is also the hamlet of Ribolla (Roccastrada municipality, Tuscany, Italy).
