Ricarda Funk (born April 15, 1992 in Bad Neuenahr - Ahrweiler ) is a German canoeist ( canoe slalom in a single kayak ).

The athlete of the German Canoe Association (DKV) grew up in Remagen and Bad Breisig on the Rhine. After graduating from the Rhein-Gymnasium Sinzig , she was accepted into the elite sport sponsorship of the German armed forces. In addition to the training, she is studying media and communication sciences from 2017.

Her greatest sporting successes so far include winning the 2014 European Championship, the 2015 Vice European Championship and the 2015 Vice World Championship . In 2016 she missed the Olympic qualification as a favorite, but won the World Cup series in the same year. At the Canoe Slalom World Championships in 2017 she won bronze in the individual and gold in the team competition, and gold at the Canoe Slalom European Championships in 2018.

Funk was elected Rhineland-Palatinate State Sportswoman of the Year in 2015.
