Riccardo Brutschin

Riccardo Brutschin (born July 23, 1992 in Waiblingen ) is a German racing driver . He is the son of the former racing driver Harald Brutschin .

Career

Brutschin began his motorsport career in karting in 2001 and was active in this sport until 2008. In 2009 he switched to the single-seater racing and entered the ADAC Formula Masters at. Starting for TNB, he finished the season in 17th place overall. In 2010 Brutschin switched to the German Formula 3 Cup and competed for Stromo's ArtLine . Due to a lack of budget, he was initially only able to compete in the internal trophy classification. With 12 trophy victories from 18 races, he won this classification. At the season finale he started in the cup classification, which he finished in 21st place. In 2011 Brutschin contested his second season in German Formula 3. After driving the first four race weekends for performance racing , he switched to HS Engineering for the sixth event . At the end of the season he was 13th overall.

In 2012 Brutschin switched to GT racing. He completed two races each in the FIA GT3 European Championship and the ADAC GT Masters as well as three races in the Blancpain Endurance Series .
