Riccardo Salvadori
Riccardo Salvadori (born February 24, 1866 in Piacenza ; † November 25, 1927 in Milan ) was an Italian genre , landscape painter , illustrator and watercolorist .
Life
Salvadori was a student at the Lucca Academy and the Istituto di Belle Arti in Naples and a long-time employee of the magazine Illustrazione italiana . He worked for the daily newspaper Corriere della Sera and produced illustrations for printed novels or comics for the monthly edition La Lettura of this magazine. He was also involved in several volumes of the Biblioteca dei ragazzi series.
