Richard Cassels
Richard Cassels (* 1690 in Kassel , Germany, † 1751 in Ireland ), also known in Ireland under the name Richard Castle , was an architect working in Ireland and is considered one of the most important architects of Irish Palladianism in the 18th century.

Cassel's buildings include the Doric Temple in Trinity College Dublin , the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin, Leinster House in Dublin, Conolly's Folly , Powerscourt House at Enniskerry , Russborough House at Blessington and Westport House in Westport .
