Richard "Rich" Chasemore (born before 1988) is an American illustrator and draftsman . He gained fame through his contract with Dorling Kindersley to illustrate some Star Wars non-fiction books.

Life

In 1992 Chasemore completed a four-year course in technical drawing and has since worked as an illustrator specializing in sketch drawings . He has already been hired for projects by a number of publishing houses and advertising agencies, using both traditional and digital media. In St. Louis , Missouri , he gave an airbrush class and authored several textbooks on digital art to pass on his passion for drawing.

Together with Hans Jenssen , with whom he has worked for a number of years, Chasemore illustrated several works on Star Wars. George Lucas' film saga was virtually unknown to him until then.
