Richard Burke "Dick" Deaver (born February 7, 1931 in Huntington Park ) is a former American sailor .

Richard Deaver took part in the 1964 Olympic Games in Tokyo in the kite boat class . Besides Charles Rogers, he was a crew member of the US boat of Skipper Lowell North . With the Aphrodite they won one of seven races and finished the regatta taking place in the Enoshima marina with 5523 points behind the Olympic champions from Denmark around skipper Ole Berntsen and the German boat led by Peter Ahrendt in third place, with which they won the bronze medal.

Deaver is a sail maker by profession .
