Richard Dunn

Richard Dunn (born January 19, 1945 in Leeds ) is a former British boxer who was defeated by Muhammad Ali in 1976 in the fight for the world heavyweight title . Ali beat him in the fifth round with a knockout blow, which was Ali's last knockout win ever. Despite the uneven fight, many British fans felt that Dunn had one of the best fights in British boxing history. In his honor, a sports facility in his hometown of Bradford was named after him. Dunn is retired and lives in Scarborough .
