Richard Miller (athlete)
Richard Miller ( Richard Dennis William "Dick" Miller; born February 14, 1929 ) is a former British javelin thrower .
At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he came in 14th place.
Starting for Northern Ireland , he finished fourth at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff in 1958 and seventh in Perth in 1962 .
He was Northern Irish Champion five times (1951, 1962–1964, 1966). He set his best performance of 74.30 m on July 27, 1963 in Chiswick .
