Richard Sahla (show jumper)

Richard Sahla (born April 8, 1900 in Bückeburg , † April 6, 1942 in Tschudowo , Russia ) was a German show jumper .

Kürger took part in the show jumping at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam . In the individual he was fourteenth with his horse Correggio and in the team competition he finished seventh together with Eduard Krüger and Carl-Friedrich von Langen .

Sahla was stationed as a first lieutenant at the cavalry school in Hanover. During World War II he fought on the Eastern Front , where he fell in Chudovo , Russia .
