Richard Seidel (politician)
Richard Seidel (born January 11, 1872 in Rumburg , Bohemia , † September 21, 1947 in Vienna ) was an Austrian politician of the Social Democratic Workers' Party (SdP).
education and profession
After attending primary and secondary schools , he began technical studies. He worked in the Archduke Albrecht's iron construction workshop and in the Lipina-Karlshütte bridge construction company. After his dismissal, he started as a designer at a Viennese company and became a group leader , later a union leader.

- 1906: President of the Association of Technical Employees
- 1919–1923: Member of the provisional municipal council of the City of Vienna and the Vienna Landtag and member of the Vienna municipal council (1st electoral term)
- President of the Federation of Industrial Employees

- March 9, 1923 to October 1, 1930: Member of the National Council ( II and III legislative periods ), SdP
- December 2, 1930 to February 17, 1934: Member of the National Council ( fourth legislative period ), SdP
