Richard St. John Ormerod Wayne
Richard St. John Ormerod Wayne (born August 27, 1904 , † January 5, 1959 ) was a British colonial politician and former administrator of Antigua and Barbuda .
biography
After attending school at Eton College and while studying at Trinity College (Cambridge) , which he graduated with a Master of Arts (MA) in 1929 , the son of a reverend entered British colonial service in what was then the crown colony of Cyprus in 1926 . There he was last active from 1941 to 1947 as Commissioner of Labor .
Subsequently, he was in 1947 by King George VI. appointed administrator of Antigua and Barbuda . After seven years of service, he handed this position over to Alec Lovelace in 1954 .
