Richard von Below (politician)

Richard von Below (born November 2, 1833 in Lugowen , † November 6, 1875 in Clarens near Montreux ) was a Prussian landowner and politician.

Richard von Below came from the original Pomeranian nobility of the Below , who were based in Western Pomerania, Western Pomerania, East Prussia and Saxony.

Life

Richard von Below was a landowner on Lugowen . He studied law at the University of Bonn and became a member of the Corps Borussia there in 1853 . In 1860 he joined the court service as a court assistant. From 1865 to 1874 he was district administrator for the Gerdauen district .

In 1866 and again in 1867 he was elected to the Prussian House of Representatives and belonged to it in the 9th and 10th legislative period, which ran until 1870. In 1874 he was appointed to the Prussian mansion at the presentation of the Association of Old and Fortified Property in the Lithuanian and Masurian Countryside, but he did not take this seat shortly before his death a few days after his 42nd birthday.
