Richgard of Sponheim
Richgard von Sponheim or Richardis († 1151) was the wife of Rudolf I of Stade , Margrave of Nordmark , and mother of Archbishop Hartwig of Magdeburg , Udo IV. And Rudolf II. Of Stade, Margrave of Nordmark.
Life
Richardis was the daughter of Hermann von Spanheim , who later became the burgrave of Magdeburg , her mother is unknown.
In 1124, she and her husband and relative Meginhard von Sponheim donated goods for the new Sponheim monastery . After her husband's death at the end of this year, she lived on estates in the vicinity of Magdeburg and Jerichow , where she raised her underage son Hartwig. Richgard died in 1151.
