Richsquare Friends Meetinghouse and Cemetery is a historic property in Lewisville , and is located in Henry County in the US state of Indiana , in the United States . Located on South County Road 250 East at number 5685, it is now privately owned or owned by Friends of Richsquare Inc. The building now serves as an auditorium and museum .
The property consists of a cemetery , which dates back to 1832, and a prayer house that was only built in 1895 by the religious order . The area of the building is 45 ares, the area of the cemetery is 72.9 ares. The architecture of the one-story prayer house is laid out in Romanesque design, although it is not known who the architect was. The foundation is made of stone with occasional layers of limestone and mortar joints . The walls are built with brick in the masonry bond. The main entrance door was renewed in 1979. The roof is made with asphalt . Another building material is concrete .
The building was listed on April 19, 2006 by the National Register of Historic Places with the number 06000305 as a Monument of Historic Relevance.
