The leading light line Berne is a leading light on the Lower Weser . It marks the fairway up the Weser between river kilometers 29 and 26.
The two towers each consist of a base enclosed with sheet pile walls, a red steel tube with a white ribbon and a red lantern with a surrounding balcony and pointed dome. The 14 m high tower of the lower light stands directly on the bank of the Unterweser and at the same time carries the lower light of the leading light line Juliusplate . The 22 m high upper fire is 220 m away in the driveway to the Warflether Arm, an oxbow lake in the Lower Weser.
The two beacons were put into operation in October 1983. They form a leading light line of 147.9 ° and show a synchronous white interrupted fire with a return of six seconds (Oc.W.6s).
